Washington Sundar’s dream Test comeback in Pune was nothing short of magical.<\/strong> Returning to the Indian Test team after a three-and-a-half-year hiatus, the offspinner claimed a career-best 7 for 59 on the first day of the second Test against New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sundar, who was a late addition to the squad, had been working closely with fellow offspinner R Ashwin in the nets. Ashwin’s guidance on bowling conditions and pace proved invaluable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
